Nope! TwitchCon is for the entire Twitch community. While there will be sessions and some content geared towards streaming, we have plenty planned for non-streamers as well. Fans, viewers, developers, and anyone who loves Twitch will find lots to do at TwitchCon.

Yes! We’ll have community meeting areas and MeetUps onsite. They’re perfect for hanging out with friends from chat.

We have Twitch employees staffing the convention so we don’t need any extra hands, but thanks for the offer! We recommend enjoying the show while our staff plays support.

You must be over 13 to purchase a TwitchCon San Diego ticket. A person under 18 years of age is considered a minor and must be accompanied by their parent/legal guardian or an adult authorized by the parent/legal guardian to attend TwitchCon. That adult must have their own TwitchCon ticket. If you would like to purchase a ticket for your child that is under 13, please email registration@twitchcon.com. Minors may be restricted from being able to access content, products and/or services that are for 17+ so please plan accordingly.

Tickets are limited to one (1) per Twitch account, other than as listed in the Shared Channel section of this FAQ. Tickets are not refundable, exchangeable, transferable, or replaceable if lost or stolen. In the event that Twitch cancels TwitchCon, all ticket holders will be refunded. You are required to bring a government issued photo ID that matches the legal name and age you provided during registration.

If tickets are still available, you have an active Twitch account, and you bring a valid government ID, you can buy a ticket at TwitchCon. Tickets must still be purchased through the TwitchCon website. To complete your purchase, you’ll need to fill out a registration form and wait a few minutes for an email with further instructions. Please note that you won’t be able to buy a ticket immediately until you receive an email to do so.

If you are 13 years old or younger, your parent / legal guardian (or authorized adult) is REQUIRED to register for their ticket before they email register@twitchcon.com to buy a ticket for you under their account as well.

Once you have received email approval for your minor ticket, please come back to this registration page to complete purchasing your ticket. Make sure to check your spam / junk folder for the emailed approval from registration@twitchcon.com.

Tickets for TwitchCon San Diego 2024 are now live! We highly recommend you get your tickets early. Once tickets sell out, they are gone for good, so if you are sure you want to attend it’s always best to get them as early as you can. The Early Bird Bundle will be available until June 12th, 2024 11:59 PST.

A valid passport, national ID card, or driver’s license that contains your first name, last name and date of birth are acceptable forms of government issued IDs. You must bring your physical ID with you for badge pickup. Please email registration@twitchcon.com if you do not have one of these forms of identification.

Yes! In order to register and purchase a TwitchCon ticket you are required to log in and verify your Twitch account.

Only your Twitch username will be on the badge.

Rest assured, your most current status will be on your badge! We will be able to check your status when you arrive at TwitchCon and ensure you get the correct badge marker.

It could take up to a week for Twitch to recognize that you’ve unlocked the TwitchCon San Diego 2024 chat badge. So if you don’t see it right away, don’t worry! And if you’ve never equipped a chat badge before, check out this help article to learn how to equip badges in chat!

We only issue shared channel tickets to Partners/Affiliates who are co-hosts/on-screen talent only. If you fit these requirements, please send an email to registration@twitchcon.com. People who assist a channel’s content creation from a behind-the-scenes basis, such as managers, editors, moderators, significant others, etc., are not considered a shared channel owner and will not receive a shared channel ticket. The deadline to request a Partner/Affiliate ticket for a shared channel is August 19, 2024 and is subject to availability.

Partners & Affiliates: If you meet the above criteria you may request a shared channel ticket during the registration process. If you are approved for the additional ticket you will need to follow the instructions to log back into your account and complete the purchase. If you are not approved you will receive an email to notify you.

Community: Each creator on a shared channel must have their own Twitch account to purchase a ticket.

Beyond the bragging rights of an Affiliate status TwitchCon badge, you’ll receive a special treat just for being you. Scan your badge to receive a gift at the Affiliate Redemption Desk and join Affiliate geared sessions like Creator Camp at the show!

Partner perks include exclusive Partner-only events! The night before TwitchCon kicks off you’re invited to the Partner Shop Night in the Loot Cave at the Partner Party. Need a little rest? Head to the Partner Lounge and enjoy some refreshments and snacks - on the house. You’ll be able to pick up your exclusive gift there by scanning your Partner badge.

The Partner Shop Night, Partner Lounge and Partner Party are just for Partner ticket holders only to enable Partners to relax and meet other Partners at TwitchCon. Plus ones will NOT be allowed at the Partner Shop Night, Partner Party or Partner Lounge.

To spend more time at the show and less time in line, we recommend picking up your badge starting Thursday, September 19 at noon, ahead of the event Friday. Bring your QR code, available in the TwitchCon Mobile App and government-issued photo ID (Entrance Requirements) to the badge area inside of the San Diego Convention Center - Hall B. Keep in mind that badges are non-transferrable. Here’s when you can pick up:

The Official TwitchCon Block Party in San Diego is a celebration exclusive to TwitchCon attendees. This year it will take place in San Diego’s historic Gaslamp Quarter, where you can explore up to 20 participating restaurants and businesses to enjoy food, drinks, and more.

Your TwitchCon Block Party ticket includes:

Food from up to 15 participating restaurants.
Each participating restaurant will have dietary information cards at each food station, and food stations can be found inside and outside of each participating restaurant. Halal and Kosher meal options will be available at Union Kitchen and Tap Gaslamp, while supplies last.
3 drink tickets + hosted beer, wine, and nonalcoholic beverages. Hosted beer, wine, and nonalcoholic beverages plus 3 drink tickets for those who are 21+ for mixed drinks/cocktails.
- If you’re 21+ and plan to have an alcoholic beverage, you must have your government-issued photo ID and 21+ wristband for the event.
- Nonalcoholic beverages do not require drink tickets.
Two stages featuring DJ performances and live band karaoke, silent disco, escape rooms, a variety of games, photo ops, and more!

You can pick up your wristband on September 21 at:

10AM - 7PM: Near the Info Desk in main TwitchCon Lobby Hall D at the SDCC
5PM - 10PM: Outside either of the two TwitchCon Block Party entrances

The Official TwitchCon Block Party is open to those who have purchased the TwitchCon Block Party add-on ticket. For access to the TwitchCon Block Party you must wear your badge and event wristband. There will be no replacement badges or replacement wristbands onsite at the party. The TwitchCon Block Party is sold out and there will be no onsite ticket sales. There are no in-and-out privileges; if you exit the TwitchCon Block Party, you will not be permitted to return.

All TwitchCon Block Party attendees are required to wear their TwitchCon badge and a TwitchCon Block Party wristband! This is a unique wristband for the TwitchCon Block Party only. Even if you’re under 21 years of age, you are required to pick up and wear a wristband to attend.

The Official TwitchCon Block Party is from 7PM - 10PM on Saturday, September 21 in the San Diego Gaslamp Quarter. The main entrance will be located between Fifth Ave and L Street at the Gaslamp Arch (199 Fifth Ave, San Diego, CA 92101) and a secondary entrance is available at Fourth Ave and J Street. Please note that this event is open to TwitchCon Block Party ticket holders only.

Make sure to bring your government-issued photo identification to the Official TwitchCon Block Party, there will be ID stations near the entrance so that you may get the appropriate wristband (21+ or Non-Alcoholic) that will include your three drink tickets. Look for the ID station signs when you arrive at the party. Details on additional 21+ or Non-Alcoholic wristband pickups will be shared later in the Official TwitchCon Block Party ‘Know Before You Go’ email.

Personal-size bags such as purses and the always fashionable fanny packs are welcome inside the Official TwitchCon Block Party, but must have dimensions no larger than 12”W x 12”H x 6”D. Backpacks and luggage such as duffle bags and rolling suitcases are not permitted. All bags are subject to search before entry. Small medical bags are allowed but must go through screening.

The Official TwitchCon Block Party does not offer a baggage check or storage lockers, but a small baggage check can be found at the San Diego Convention Center (Outside of entrance B2, with more details to be found in the Entrance FAQ). Bags and all personal items, should be kept on your person at all times as neither Twitch nor the participating restaurants and businesses are responsible for any personal items.

Gaslamp Quarter - Main Event Entrance: Located between Fifth Ave and L Street at the Gaslamp Arch (199 Fifth Ave, San Diego, CA 92101)

Rideshare is strongly encouraged. Parking is very limited during operating hours and other events happening in the area.

Due to construction and other events happening in San Diego please allow for additional travel time.

In addition to the above linked requirements, the Gaslamp Quarter does not permit the following:

Functional and/or 3D printed firearms, weapons, and incendiary devices including:
- Blunt weapons including brass knuckles, clubs/bats, and nunchaku
- Firearms including airsoft guns, BB guns, cap guns, paintball guns, pellet guns, etc.
- Nothing that resembles police, military, or other types of weapons
- Fireworks, smoke bombs, or other screening device
- Functional projectile weapons
- Hard prop weapons including props made of metal, fiberglass, and glass
- Knives, swords, and sharpened metal-bladed weapons of any size
- Mace, pepper spray, mustard spray, and any other defense spray or irritant
- Replica firearms including reproduction, fake, or toy guns
- Whips
Products including:
- Aerosol cans such as hairspray, silly string, etc.
- Flammable liquids, solids or gasses
- Projectiles
- Frisbees or balls of any kind
- Noisemakers such as vuvuzelas, drums, bull horns, thundersticks, air horns, and whistles
- Paper or pop-streamers
- Electronic cigarettes, electronic vaping devices, personal vaporizers, etc.

While most of the Gaslamp Quarter is ADA-compliant and accessible, the Gaslamp Quarter of San Diego is a historic neighborhood that dates back to the 1850s and some businesses or restaurants may require additional assistance from security to access. Additional accessible ramps have been placed throughout the outdoor street space and can be found on the event map. Additional seating areas can also be found throughout the Gaslamp Quarter and can be found inside many of the restaurants. You can also find an ADA-accessible line queue at both TwitchCon Block Party entrances.

Abso-woof-ly! Service dogs (and miniature horses, in some cases) who are required because of a disability and/or are trained to perform a task or work are welcome to visit alongside their humans.

The restaurants and businesses participating in the Official TwitchCon Block Party are mostly cashless, but select restaurants and businesses may accept cash in their venue.

In addition to the details provided here, the Event Entrance Requirements apply to the TwitchCon Block Party. Failure to comply may result in denial of entry or your removal from the party and/or TwitchCon without refund as well as other consequences as set forth in https://www.twitch.tv/p/en/legal/events-code-of-conduct/.

Personal still snapshots + video are allowed and encouraged but must not disrupt regular operations or other visitors. Professional cameras, tripods, and equipment are not allowed unless authorized. No photography, film, or streaming is allowed at the entrance/screening areas or in the bathrooms.

If you are a Twitch Partner, the TwitchCon Partner Party access is included with your TwitchCon ticket! More information will be emailed to Partners with tickets to TwitchCon San Diego 2024 as we get closer to the event.

We are no longer accepting content idea submissions or Artist Alley booth applications for TwitchCon San Diego 2024 or edits to those submissions or applications.

All sessions are first-come, first-serve, and are free with your TwitchCon badge. We do have to adhere to the venue’s capacity requirements, so if a session is popular and the room is filled, staff may ask you kindly to move on from the area to continue your fun at TwitchCon. If this happens, we recommend checking the schedule, or asking TwitchCon Staff, if the session will be streamed or recorded. Not all sessions are streamed or recorded but we will do our best to accommodate as many people as possible. We recommend planning your schedule ahead of time and arriving at sessions with plenty of time. The TwitchCon app will be a great tool to help you plan your TwitchCon experience!

Yes! To download the app, click here and select the download link for your phone’s operating system. The app will have a lot more fun information, including the event map, detailed information on Sessions, Meet & Greets, and more! Only guests who have a ticket to TwitchCon will be able to fully access the app.

Attendees with accessibility badges will have a special queue for them and their companions to enter the store and to pay for their items after shopping. The Loot Cave is accessible to those with mobility devices (e.g., wheelchairs).

Unfortunately, no food or drinks are allowed in the Loot Cave.

We will be offering around 50 products ranging from tees, hoodies, sweatshirts, sweat pants, socks, water bottles, bags, and pins. We will be featuring a brand NEW TwitchCon San Diego Collection that can only be bought exclusively at the event!

We offer most apparel styles in sizes S up to 3XL with certain Tees including XS and 4XL sizes. Size range will vary by style. All styles are US unisex sizing outside of the Cropped T-shirt which is female sized.

There will be a fitting area inside the store to try on different sizes.

No. The Loot Cave is cashless and will only be accepting credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. We will only accept credit/debit cards from the following:
American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay.

Unfortunately, no returns or exchanges will be accepted. We encourage everyone to take advantage of the fitting area inside the store to ensure items fit as desired before making a purchase.

Stay tuned for the launch of our official list of streamer Meet and Greet sessions! We will update this FAQ on how our new and improved Meet & Greet process will work at TwitchCon in San Diego.

We cannot promise that you will be able to meet, take photos with, or get an autograph from your favorite streamer at TwitchCon. Every streamer coming to TwitchCon loves to meet their community IRL, but there is a limited amount of time for Meet & Greets.

TwitchCon Meet & Greet sessions will require attendees to reserve a session via the TwitchCon mobile app. Meet & Greet reservation is free. Only attendees who have received confirmation of their Meet & Greet session reservation will be allowed in the Meet & Greet area within the San Diego Convention Center.

All paid badge types (Single Day & 3-Day) are eligible to reserve a Meet & Greet session exclusively on the TwitchCon mobile app starting September 10, 2024 at 10:00am PT on a first come, first served basis.

Note:

Single day badge holders will only be allowed to reserve Meet & Greet sessions for the day they have purchased. Example: Saturday badge holders will only be allowed to reserve a Saturday Meet & Greet session and will not be allowed to reserve a Friday or Sunday Meet & Greet session.
Press and Exhibitor badge types are not allowed to make Meet & Greet reservations
Trading and/or gifting of Meet & Greet reservations is prohibited.
All Meet & Greet sessions are subject to change. A confirmed reservation does not guarantee you will meet your favorite streamer. If you reserved a session that has been rescheduled or canceled, we will alert you via email.
We are all excited to meet our favorite streamers, however, please be respectful and mindful of other attendees and streamers. Please refer to the Twitch Events Code of Conduct and Release for more information on behavior and possible consequences.

Reservations to meet your favorite Streamer are required and can be done on the TwitchCon mobile app starting September 10, 2024 at 10:00am PT. In the app:

Open the hamburger menu and select Featured.
Select Meet & Greets.
Scroll through the schedule and if reservations are still available for a particular streamer, tap the Reserve button. You will see confirmation that your reservation is scheduled and it will appear in the My Agenda tab of the Schedule page. If reservations are no longer available, you will receive a notification that the session is full and no longer accepting reservations.

Reservations are issued on a first come first served basis. We anticipate that most Meet & Greets will fill very quickly, so if you have a favorite streamer you’d like to meet at TwitchCon, be sure to register early. Once a session has reached its max capacity, the reservation button will be inactive and additional attendees will not be able to make a reservation.

Yes, all Meet & Greet confirmed reservations are able to bring a plus one with them for their registered time. All guests must have their own TwitchCon ticket for the day of the session to gain access to the Meet & Greet and must be with you upon arrival at the Meet & Greet area. There will be no re-entry access for the Meet & Greet area.

Note: Persons providing health care assistance will not count as your plus one and will be allowed to stand in queue with you while you wait. However, they will not be allowed to participate in the Meet & Greet session when it is your turn to meet your favorite streamer.

Yes, you are able to schedule more than one Meet & Greet session subject to availability. You will not be able to reserve two Meet & Greet sessions with the same or overlapping time slots.

Once you have a confirmed Meet & Greet reservation, your reservation will appear within the TwitchCon mobile app under the My Agenda tab of the Schedule page.

No, there are no waitlists for streamers due to timing and scheduling constraints.

Note: If you weren’t able to secure a Meet & Greet reservation, take a peek at our full schedule to find your favorite creators participating in other content at TwitchCon.

Queueing for the upcoming session will start approximately 30 minutes prior to the start of the scheduled session. If you have a confirmed reservation, you must be present and in queue prior to the start of the session. If you arrive more than 30 minutes past the start of a session, there will be no guarantee that you will be permitted entry. We will not allow re-entry once you have checked in.

Every Streamer has a different comfort level with what may happen at their Meet & Greet. Once the session has begun, please be respectful of each Streamer’s request regarding photos/selfies, autographs, touch (e.g., handshakes, high-fives, hugs, etc.), and gifts. Event staff members will provide more information once the session has started.

Streamers love meeting their communities IRL. If there is enough time, we will allow walk-ins for sessions that are not fully booked.

The Meet & Greet reservation system is designed to allow all the opportunity to register on a first come, first served basis. There will be on-site queuing accommodations for those who have a confirmed reservation once at the Meet & Greet area within TwitchCon.

To get to the venue by rideshare, set the SDCC address as your destination within the rideshare app (like Uber). The address is:

You will be dropped off at the designated rideshare point at Hall H. If you require accommodation for accessibility, you can instruct your driver to drop you off at Hall A. This will place you near the Main Entrance.

Please email accessibilitysupport@twitchcon.com for any accessibility and accommodations requests. Your TwitchCon badge will have an accessibility marker added to your badge.

Due to the front driveway closure at the SDCC for TwitchCon, the most accessible drop off location is located between the SDCC and the Marriott Marquis, near Hall A. There will be signage indicating where vehicles can pull in and let accessible passengers out. There is an accessible ramp near the traffic light where attendees can access the sidewalk.

TwitchCon will offer a designated accessibility entrance for security screening and for badge pick-up at the San Diego Convention Center to ease entry into the event. Queuing to enter TwitchCon will take place in front of the San Diego Convention Center. The accessibility queue to enter the building will be located at Entry B. Once inside, follow the signs for Accessible Badge Pickup, located on the left side of Hall B. The accessibility queue to enter TwitchCon (for those who have already collected their badges) will be clearly identified via signage. Please speak to our event staff with any questions.

TwitchCon is wheelchair accessible. Mobility scooters and wheelchairs are available for rent on a first-come-first-served basis at the San Diego Convention Center on Friday, September 20, Saturday, September 21 and Sunday September 22. The Scooter and Wheelchair rental is located outside the building to the right of Entry A. It is recommended that attendees reserve scooters in advance by emailing info@mobilitysource.com or calling (619) 234-9505**.** The daily rate for a scooter is $65 per day or $145 for the entire event, and the daily rate for a wheelchair is $35 per day or $72 for the entire event. Attendees will be required to complete a rental agreement directly with the vendor, Mobility Source.

All bags must be inspected and tagged. Attendees must notify registration of this need (see accessibility request form above), have their items screened and tagged. Attendees can bring in medically necessary medications into TwitchCon if they are disclosed during the security screening process and meet these criteria:

Medical prescriptions are in their original container.
Only one type of medication is permitted per container, and that the bottle contains only the appropriate amount of medication necessary while in attendance inside the venue.
Prescriptions are not expired.
The attendee’s name is on the prescription bottle and matches the attendee’s government issued ID card.

Items that do not match these requirements will not be allowed in the venue. A baggage storage area will be available on a first-come-first-served basis near the venue, but liquids cannot be stored.

Designated queueing and bench seating areas will be available for those requiring accommodation at programming events on a first-come-first-served basis. Please look for accessibility signage and speak to our Event Staff in black crew t-shirts with any questions. If you need assistance with finding seating in the venue, please seek assistance at an information desk in advance or look for a staff member at the event to assist you.

There are three information desks at TwitchCon San Diego. The first is located on Level 1 in Lobby D. There are two located on Level 2 - one outside the NomNom Theater and one outside the Glitch Theater.

There will be digitally provided captioning in each content room on the 2nd level. The captioning service is provided through Wordly. Attendees can scan a QR Code or access a link from the TwitchCon mobile app on personal mobile devices that will direct them to the room-specific website. Captions can be interpreted in multiple languages and are also available audibly using personal headphones. Stand-by interpreters will be located at the Info Desk and deployed throughout the event as needed.

Service animals (as defined in ADA and California laws) are permitted in alignment with accessibility requirements. Under these regulations, the definition of “service animal” is limited to a dog or a miniature horse that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. Look for help at any of the info desks.

Note: Please do not pet or engage assistance dogs without the owner’s permission.

Our AFK Rooms (Quiet Rooms) are no-streaming quiet areas with low lighting and seating. These areas are available for attendees who need a place to relax or take a sensory break from the noise, electronics and lights of the event. These rooms will be open during event operating hours. Anyone in these areas that are not adhering to noise restrictions or who is recording, taking pictures or live streaming will be asked to leave to keep the environment calm for all.

We will offer three AFK Rooms at TwitchCon San Diego. The first is located on Level 1 in Hall D next to Table Top. The second is located on Level 2, Room 21 around the corner from the NomNom Theater. The third is located on Level 2, Room 1B next to Creator Camp.

Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free, Halal, Kosher, and Nut Free items will be available for purchase at select kiosks. A list of dietary options will be available at the info desks.

Roaming medical teams will be on site and first aid clinic stations will be open during all event hours. There are two first aid stations. The first is located on Level 1 Box Office Lobby E. The second is located on Level 2, outside NomNom Theater (Room 20A-B).

Yes, accessible bathrooms will be available on each level at TwitchCon. Please refer to onsite signage for where these restrooms are located. Please speak to our Event Staff or visit an Info Desk with any questions.

A nursing room will be available onsite. It is located on Level 1 Lobby E.

We’re constantly reviewing our health and safety guidelines along with local authorities. In accordance with current local guidelines, there will be no COVID-19 vaccination or testing requirements at TwitchCon San Diego. Although masks are encouraged, they are not currently required to attend TwitchCon. Please ensure you are comfortable with our current health and safety measures before you purchase your ticket to TwitchCon.

Note that TwitchCon San Diego will be presented in accordance with applicable public health and safety guidelines as of the date of the event. This means that the health and safety measures for our event may change at any time as determined by the government, governing agencies, the venue and/or Twitch. Such measures may include, without limitation, changes to capacity, attendance procedures and entry requirements, such as proof of vaccination and/or negative COVID-19 test, and other protective measures such as requiring attendees to wear face coverings. Any ticket holder who does not comply with the guidelines in place as of the date of TwitchCon San Diego may be refused admission or be asked to leave the venue and such ticket holder will not be entitled to a refund.

We also recommend checking out local governmental health and safety requirements including COVID-19 government measures.

TwitchCon San Diego 2024 Entrance Requirements

Please read these entrance requirements before attending any TwitchCon San Diego event (the “Event”). Failure to follow this policy may result in denial of entry or your removal from any or all Events without refund as well as other consequences as set forth in the Events Code of Conduct and Release. Your entry is also subject to the terms and conditions of the venue.

Devices may not be flown, tethered, or floated within or on the premises of the San Diego Convention Center or any other Event venue or hotel. This prohibits the use of:

Drones
Helium-filled balloons or products
Lighter-than-air products

If you have pets, including iguanas, parrots, boa constrictors, or other nonhuman critters, please leave them at home. We know you love your companion, but for safety reasons, only service animals (as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act and California law) that are specifically trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability are allowed on the premises. Please note that Twitch may not admit or may remove a service animal that Twitch determines may pose a threat to the health and safety of Event attendees.

Always wear your badge in a visible manner. Security may ask you to show your badge, so please be prepared to do so. You’ll need your badge to attend any Event, including those at the San Diego Convention Center, and at the TwitchCon Party.

Badges are non-transferable and are tied to your Twitch account. Please do not give your badge to anyone (including your friends). If you lose your TwitchCon badge, please visit the Help Desk at Registration. Lost or stolen badges may incur a fee for replacement.

Backpacks are prohibited. Small bags are permitted but must have dimensions no larger than 12”W x 12”H x 6”D. Please note that all attendees will be subject to security screening measures prior to entering the Event, including bag searches. Small medical bags are allowed but must go through additional screening and be tagged.

Please leave backpacks, luggage, and large bags at your hotel or home. Backpacks purchased at the Event are not eligible for re-entry (including Twitch-branded backpacks). We encourage all attendees to use a small, clear bag to expedite entry.

No Streaming/Recording/Photography Areas: Streaming, recording, photography, or any other manner of fixing audio, visual or audio-visual at the Event is prohibited in the following areas:

Security checkpoints
Bathrooms
Registration
First aid clinic
AFK area
Partner Lounge
Partner Party
Any other area designated as a “No Streaming Zone”

IRL Streaming Backpacks: Only Affiliates and Partners may enter the Event with IRL streaming backpacks that have passed security screening measures. These backpacks will be tagged once they’ve cleared the screening checkpoint, and the tag must remain on the backpack at all times while inside any Event that permits streaming, including the San Diego Convention Center. Those with IRL streaming backpacks must comply with the No Streaming/Recording/Photography Areas provision above.

For security reasons, full-face masks (such as cosplay or costume masks) and full-face paint are not allowed until you have entered the building and passed through security. Once you have cleared security and badge pick up at Hall B, you are permitted to wear a full-face mask or full-face paint inside the building. If you leave the building or premises, you must adhere to the same policy for re-entry outlined above.

Masks to protect against COVID-19, such as disposable surgical masks, N95 and K95 masks, are not currently required to attend TwitchCon San Diego, but are encouraged to be worn in large group settings. If this requirement changes, we will post a notice onour website and directly notify ticket holders.

The below are prohibited at any Event, including at the San Diego Convention Center and at the TwitchCon Party:

Functional and/or 3D printed firearms, weapons, and incendiary devices including:
- Blunt weapons including brass knuckles, clubs/bats, and nunchaku
- Firearms including airsoft guns, BB guns, cap guns, paintball guns, pellet guns, etc.
- Fireworks, smoke bombs, or other screening device
- Functional projectile weapons
- Hard prop weapons including props made of metal, fiberglass, and glass
- Knives, swords, and sharpened metal-bladed weapons of any size
- Mace, pepper spray, mustard spray, and any other defense spray or irritant
- Replica firearms including reproduction, fake, or toy guns
- Whips
Products including:
- Aerosol cans such as hairspray, silly string, etc.
- Flammable liquids, solids or gasses
- Projectiles
- Frisbees or balls of any kind
- Noisemakers such as vuvuzelas, drums, bull horns, thundersticks, air horns, and whistles
- Paper or pop-streamers

Costumes, including prop or costume weapons (“Cosplay Weapons”), that comply with the following requirements, as determined by security in its sole discretion, are permitted:

must be submitted to security upon entry for review and tagging
must conform to local laws and regulations
must not be mistakable for real weapons in color and/or style
cosplay costumes must not resemble law enforcement or military uniforms
must not be potentially harmful
must be composed of cardboard, foam, wood or other light materials
bows will be allowed provided that arrows have soft/dull tips
projectiles must be rendered inoperable
swords must be tied to the costume in such a way that they can’t be drawn
Cosplay Weapons that are not tagged may be confiscated

For safety reasons, recreational vehicles and equipment are not allowed inside the San Diego Convention Center. This prohibition does not apply to mobility vehicles.

Need to stop and rest? Please be aware of where you take a seat. By order of the fire marshal, sitting in aisles and laneways is not allowed. Lounges are located throughout the San Diego Convention Center.

The use of illicit drugs or substances is prohibited on the premises and is considered unacceptable behavior under theTwitch Events Code of Conduct and Release.

The San Diego Convention Center is a non-smoking facility. By state law, and in the interest of public health, the Convention Center has adopted a non-smoking policy. There are designated areas outside the building where smoking and vaping are permitted. No smoking at TwitchCon includes traditional cigarettes, pipes, cigars, or e-cigarettes and any vaping product or device. You are welcome to step outside to smoke in designated smoking areas only, but please be considerate of others when you do.

No retail sales are allowed anywhere at TwitchCon San Diego unless you purchased or were allocated exhibit space by Twitch. This includes on or near the San Diego Convention Center grounds (e.g., the entrance, parking lot, Exhibit Hall, common areas such as lobbies, panel rooms, as well as other events or locations related to the Event, such as the Partner Party, TwitchCon Party or TwitchCon designated hotels. Retail sales are strictly limited to the exhibitors in the Event Exhibit Halls and Artist Alley).
