Current Guidelines

(Updated 8/12/22) All attendees (including exhibitors, guests, staff, streamers, etc.) must verify that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 OR provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test to attend TwitchCon. Regardless of vaccination status, all attendees will also be required to wear approved face coverings to enter and remain at TwitchCon. We will also have hand sanitizer stations throughout the venue. Please see our Health Measures FAQs below for more information on what constitutes a full vaccination, acceptable proof of a negative test and face coverings. We will continue to monitor the health and safety measures along with local authorities and we reserve the right to modify and add health requirements at our sole discretion.

Health Measures FAQ

Do you require those attending TwitchCon to be vaccinated against COVID-19?

All ticket holders, exhibitors and staff at TwitchCon will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or show a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test to attend TwitchCon in person this year.

What constitutes “fully vaccinated against COVID-19”?

At this time, “fully vaccinated” means that the first day of your attendance at TwitchCon must be at least 14 days after completion of your primary series of a Center of Disease Control (CDC) or World Health Organization (WHO) approved or authorized COVID-19 vaccine.  This means that you need to receive your second dose of your COVID-19 vaccine in a 2-dose series or your single-dose COVID-19 vaccine no later than September 22, 2022 to attend the first day of TwitchCon.

Please note that the CDC recommends that people remain up to date with their vaccines, which includes additional doses and/or booster doses. Please visit https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/booster-shot.html for more information.

How do I verify my COVID-19 vaccination to attend TwitchCon?

Bring one of the following records of your COVID-19 vaccination status when you check-in to receive your TwitchCon badge:

*physical COVID-19 vaccination/immunization card; or

*digital COVID-19 certificate issued by the Department of Public Health; or

*a photo of your COVID-19 vaccination/immunization card

Note you must provide a government issued ID that matches the name on your vaccination record.

Will you accept a record of a COVID-19 vaccine that is authorized or approved by the national health authority of the country where I got my vaccine but is not U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) approved or authorized under the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA)?

Yes. We will accept a record of COVID-19 vaccinations authorized or approved by the national health authority of the country where they were administered. Unless otherwise defined by their national health authority, we will consider attendees fully vaccinated 2 weeks after receiving recommended doses in their primary series of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Will you accept a record of a mixed (heterologous) regime of COVID-19 vaccinations if authorized or approved by the national health authority of the country where I got my vaccine?

Yes. We will accept proof of two doses of different COVID-19 vaccine products if this is authorized or approved by the national health authority of the country where they were administered.

Can I attend TwitchCon with a record of a negative COVID-19 test instead of providing a record of vaccination against COVID-19?

Yes. Ticket holders who are attending TwitchCon who choose not to show a record of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are able to attend if the attendee provides a record of a negative COVID-19 test. Acceptable negative test results are limited to third-party laboratory-provided antigen and PCR results conducted no more than 72 hours prior to the start of the event. Self-administered tests will not be accepted.

What date do I need to be tested for COVID-19 to participate in TwitchCon?

An acceptable negative COVID-19 antigen or PCR test result from a third-party laboratory will need to be taken no more than 72 hours for an antigen test or PCR test prior to check-in on the first day of TwitchCon. Self-administered tests will not be accepted.

How do I provide proof of my COVID-19 negative test result to attend TwitchCon?

Bring one of the following of your negative COVID-19 antigen or PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before you check-in to receive your TwitchCon badge:

*your physical COVID-19 antigen or PCR test result; or

*a photo of your test result
