When and where is TwitchCon?

TwitchCon Amsterdam will take place 2-3 May 2020 at the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre located at Europaplein 24, 1078 GZ Amsterdam. All content will be presented and streamed in English.

What can I do at TwitchCon?

Simply put, you can do a whole lot. Everything and everyone that makes Twitch, Twitch, will be represented over the course of the weekend. There will be sessions and workshops to help improve your stream, esports showdowns, live shows, meet and greets with your favorite streamers, and much, much more. Visit the homepage for the Event At A Glance.

What languages will TwitchCon be presented in?

All TwitchCon Amsterdam content will be presented and streamed in English.

Do I need to be a streamer to go to TwitchCon?

Nope! TwitchCon is for the entire Twitch community. While there will be sessions and some content geared towards streaming, we have plenty planned for non-streamers as well. Fans, viewers, developers, and anyone who loves games will find lots to do at TwitchCon.

Do I need a Twitch account to buy a TwitchCon ticket?

Yes. Click here to learn how to set up your Twitch account.

Will I meet my favorite streamers at TwitchCon?

Many of them, yes! You’ll run into Twitch streamers at TwitchCon both around the show floor and at their meet and greet sessions, where you can get some face time and an autograph from your favorites.

Can I meet up with my community?

Yes! We’ll have community meeting areas and MeetUps onsite. They’re perfect for hanging out with friends from chat. We promise they’re more comfortable than the floor.

Can I volunteer to work at TwitchCon?

We have Twitch employees staffing the convention, so thanks for the offer, but not this time. We recommend enjoying the show while our staff plays support.

My chat badge is missing? What should I do?

It could take up to an hour for Twitch to recognize that you’ve unlocked the TwitchCon Amsterdam chat badge. So if you don’t see it right away, don’t worry! And if you’ve never equipped a chat badge before, here’s how to do it:

  • Open up the stream chat in any channel.
  • Next to the chat button on the bottom right, there’s a “Chat Settings” icon. Click it.
  • In the menu that pops up, you’ll see your Twitch username below “IDENTITY.” Click it.
  • You can choose which badges you want to appear beside your name on the current channel or globally for every channel. Select your TwitchCon Amsterdam badge and you’re all set.

Contact our registration vendor for additional assistance with activating your chat badge.

I’m a Partner and I’d prefer not to show up in the “Who’s Coming” section of the website. What should I do?

No worries. Contact our registration vendor with a request to be removed. Be sure to include your full name and Twitch Display Name.

Can someone else pick up my badge for me?

Keeping the event safe for everyone is a top priority. To adhere to our strict safety guidelines, it will not be possible for anyone but you to pick up your badge. You will need to bring your ticket (electronic or printed is acceptable so long as the QR code is scannable) and a valid government issued ID to pick up your badge.

Can I get a refund for my ticket?

Tickets are not refundable, exchangeable, transferable or replaceable if lost or stolen.

What is the registration process for speakers?

If your session is accepted, all speakers will be given a TwitchCon badge (or a refund if you already purchased a badge) for access to the event. Please note that if your session is not selected we will not refund your ticket.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Tickets are non transferable.

I recently became a Partner/Affiliate, but I purchased my ticket while I was a community member. Will my badge automatically update to the correct status?

Yes. We will be able to check your status on site and ensure you get the correct badge.

I stream on a shared Partner and Affiliate channel. How can I get everyone on the channel registered?

We require any additional Partner/Affiliate tickets for shared channels to be granted to co-hosts/on-screen talent only. The deadline to request a ticket for a shared channel is April 1. People who assist a channel’s content creation from a behind-the-scenes basis, such as managers, editors, moderators, significant others, etc, do not count. Please contact our registration vendor with your ticket confirmation, channel name, full name, and email address. Note: The Twitch Partnerships team will need to confirm this request. We cannot guarantee that the Community ticket will be upgraded.

What do I need to bring to pick up my badge?

You need to bring a valid government issued ID so we can confirm your identity, as well as the ticket that was emailed to you when you purchased your badge. You can either print it or bring it as an image on your phone, as long as the QR code is scannable.

If you have any questions, please contact our registration vendor.
