Health Measures

General Policy

We’re constantly reviewing our health and markdownsafety guidelines along with local authorities. In accordance with current local guidelines, there will be no COVID-19 vaccination or testing requirements at TwitchCon Amsterdam.

However, TwitchCon Amsterdam will be presented in accordance with applicable public health and safety guidelines as of the date of the event and the health and safety measures for our event may change at any time as determined by federal or local government agencies, the venue and/or Twitch.  Such requirements may include, without limitation, changes to capacity, attendance procedures and entry requirements, such as proof of vaccination and/or negative COVID-19 test, and other protective measures such as requiring attendees to wear face coverings. Any ticket holder who does not comply with the guidelines in place as of the date of TwitchCon Amsterdam may be refused admission or be asked to leave the venue and such ticket holder will not be entitled to a refund.

Mask Policy

Masks to protect against COVID-19, such as disposable surgical masks, N95 and K95 masks, are not currently required to attend TwitchCon Amsterdam, but are encouraged to be worn in large group settings. Note that this policy may change depending on the rules and requirements at the time of the event. Please see above under “General Policy.”

For security purposes, full-face masks (think costumes or cosplay masks) and full-face paint are not permitted; see Event Entrance Requirements for more details on costume and cosplay guidance.

Hand Sanitization
TwitchCon will offer fixed hand sanitization units throughout the event available for use.
Social Distancing
Most spaces throughout TwitchCon Amsterdam are designed to allow attendees to maintain a 6 foot (2 meter) distance from other attendees, although this is not currently required. Note that this may change as depending on the rules and requirements at the time of the Event. Please see above under “General Policy.”
Where can I get tested for COVID-19 in Amsterdam?
Testing for COVID-19 can currently be done with self tests that are sold at pharmacies, chemists, and supermarkets across Amsterdam. For more information, check out - Self Testing.
