TwitchCon Amsterdam Event Entrance Requirements

Please read this entire policy before attending TwitchCon AMSTERDAM. Failure to follow this policy may result in denial of entry or your removal from the event without refund. Your entry is subject to the terms and conditions of the venue

Airspace Objects

Devices may not be flown, tethered, or floated within or on the premises of RAI Amsterdam or any other official TwitchCon event venue or hotel. This prohibits the use of:

  • Drones

  • Helium-filled balloons or products

  • Lighter-than-air products

Animals and Pets

If you have pets, including iguanas, parrots, boa constrictors, or other nonhuman critters, please leave them at home. We know you love your companion, but for safety reasons, only service animals are allowed on the premises.

Always wear your badge in a visible place! Security may ask you to show your badge, so please be prepared to do so. You’ll need your badge to attend any TwitchCon event, including all events at The RAI Amsterdam or any other official TwitchCon events at another venue.

Badges are non-transferable and are tied to your Twitch account. Please do not give your badge to anyone (including your friends). If you lose your TwitchCon badge, please visit the Help Desk at Registration. Lost or stolen badges may incur a fee for replacement.

Backpacks are prohibited. Small bags are permitted but must have dimensions no larger than 12”x12”x6”. Please note that all bags will be subject to security screening and a secondary screening process will take place if a bag triggers an alarm.

Please leave backpacks, luggage, large bags, and bulky clothing at your hotel or home. Backpacks purchased at the event are not eligible for re-entry (including Twitch-branded backpacks). There will be a bag check on-site but space will be limited. We encourage all attendees to use the TwitchCon giveaway swag bag, or consider a small fanny pack or clear bag to expedite entry.

Affiliates and Partners only: IRL streaming backpacks are allowed and will also be subject to security screening and a secondary screening. These backpacks will be tagged once they’ve cleared the screening process, and the tag must remain on the backpack at all times while inside the venue (Rai Amsterdam). Security Screening will take place at all entrances to TwitchCon. The Partner Lounge, Partner Party and Offline Zone are no streaming areas.

For security purposes, full-face masks (think cosplay or costume masks) and full-face paint are not permitted. Masks to protect against COVID-19, such as disposable surgical masks, N95 and K95 masks, are not currently required to attend TwitchCon Amsterdam, but are encouraged to be worn in large group settings.
