Please read this entire policy before attending TwitchCon AMSTERDAM. Failure to follow this policy may result in denial of entry or your removal from the event without refund. Your entry is subject to the terms and conditions of the venue.
Airspace Objects
Devices may not be flown, tethered, or floated within or on the premises of RAI Amsterdam or any other official TwitchCon event venue or hotel. This prohibits the use of:
Animals and Pets
If you have pets, including iguanas, parrots, boa constrictors, or other nonhuman critters, please leave them at home. We know you love your companion, but for safety reasons, only service animals are allowed on the premises.
Badges
Always wear your badge in a visible place! Security may ask you to show your badge, so please be prepared to do so. You’ll need your badge to attend any TwitchCon event, including all events at The RAI Amsterdam or any other official TwitchCon events at another venue.
Badges are non-transferable and are tied to your Twitch account. Please do not give your badge to anyone (including your friends). If you lose your TwitchCon badge, please visit the Help Desk at Registration. Lost or stolen badges may incur a fee for replacement.
Bags
Small bags are permitted but must have dimensions no larger than 12”x12”x6”. Please note that all bags will go through security checks.
Masks
For security purposes, full-face masks (think cosplay or costume masks) and full-face paint are not permitted. Masks to protect against COVID-19, such as disposable surgical masks, N95 and K95 masks, are not currently required to attend TwitchCon Amsterdam, but are encouraged to be worn in large group settings. Note that this policy may change depending on the rules and requirements at the time of the event.

Any attendee found to have violated the prohibited items list may be denied entry or be removed from TwitchCon Amsterdam.
Permitted Items at TwitchCon Amsterdam
No functional weapons are allowed at TwitchCon. Simulated or costume weapons are allowed as a part of your costume, subject to prior approval by security. Prop weapons will be allowed providing they are composed of cardboard, foam, wood or other light materials and receive approval by security and comply with the following:

Recreational Vehicles
For safety reasons, segways, scooters, skateboards, hoverboards, and bicycles are not allowed inside RAI Amsterdam.
Sitting Areas
Need to stop and rest? Please be aware of where you take a seat. By order of the fire marshal, sitting in aisles and laneways is not allowed. Lounges are located throughout RAI Amsterdam.
Smoking and Drug Use
RAI Amsterdam is a smoke-free area. No smoking at TwitchCon includes traditional cigarettes, pipes, cigars, or e-cigarettes and any vaping product or device. This policy includes all indoor areas. You are welcome to step outside to smoke in designated smoking areas only, but please be considerate of others when you do. This policy is in place not only for the comfort of attendees but also to comply with European ordinances prohibiting smoking at public events near any doorway, entrance, exit, or operable window.
